Adjustable Handle Eases the Work Load
The Worx 13 Amp Mower features ErgoSum Design Technology, which includes an adjustable handle to match your height, and which allows you to work with both arms straight for the most comfortable operating angle. Soft grips reduce vibrations, which contribute to fatigue, and the handle folds down for easy storage.

Environmentally Friendly, Maintenance Free
With its 13 Amp electric motor, the WORX Electric Mower makes a powerful and environmentally friendly alternative togasoline-powered mowers. Not only is it free of the polluting byproducts associated with gas-powered tools, but it eliminatesthe hassles of using gasoline and oil, and it cuts down on noise pollution. The handle easily collapses for compact storage.

Versatility to Cut, Mulch, or Bag
Easy one-touch height adjustment drops or raises the 19-inch blade between 1-1/2 and 3-1/2 inches. You can collect your clippings in the included 1.6 bushel bag, slip in the mulching insert to recycle clippings back into the yard, or take advantage of the side discharge chute when bagging or mulching isn't required.

Light duty mower

This mower held up well for the trials I put it through. New sod, very thick and most mornings wet. The unit is easy to maneuver with exception of the cord that gets in the way more often than not. This mower is best suited for relatively thin and dry grass. In my experience the cut was uneven at the best of times. During use with damp thick (not tall) grass the motor would bog down and necessitate mowing the same area several times in different directions to get good results. The bag capacity is minimal creating the need to constantly stop mowing to empty it. For a very small yard this unit will work well.

Clearly the designer of this mower never personally used a corded mower before picking up his pencil! I am a thirty year veteran of electric mowing. The cord is usually never a problem providing one can keep one hand free to play the cord. And corded electric mowers are usually light enough where that is not a problem. However, the dead-man switch on the Worx mowers is operable only from the far right side of the handle-bar rather than reachable from the middle where it can be activated with either hand. This makes the machine pretty hard to use and maneuver with one hand. It has a needlessly long snout preventing one from cutting up close to planting areas with the front edge. It's also heavier than my old B & D mowers. Positives are: It has a nice solid feel and sound and plenty of torque (13 Amp motor) for mulching long or wet-ish grass (contrary to an earlier post). And contrary to the Worx website, it does NOT have "Front and middle carry handles" nor a "Striping Roller". I'm sending mine back. Having bought it online I'll have to absorb the return freight but it's worth it to not have to live with this thing. Oh, and in all due respect to Amazon which MAY have a better return policy, I bought it through Tyler Tool to save a few bucks. Next time, brick & mortar stores only.
